Activating a new global brand with a website powered by a smart, sustainable design system.

Context

Brightly’s business goals were simple: activate a new global brand with a ground-up website powered by a smart, sustainable design system. The project needed to cover a lot of groundwork and hit a deadline in less than 12 weeks. A different branding agency was still developing the new brand, so it required us to jump right in, catch up on what was already built, and work in tandem to build an entirely new site and design framework that would bring the Brightly brand to life.

I progressed quickly through the design system and key page designs such that we were ahead of schedule. We were able to add an additional scope of work to create assets for Brightly’s product suite to use on the site. I worked with their product team to define the look and feel for abstracted product and then managed two designers to produce assets in time for content entry.

My Role:

  • Lead visual designer — applied the new brand to the web, and designing components for the CMS

  • Collaborated with Brightly’s product team to create rebranded assets for existing products

  • Managed and art directed two designers and led design to create product asses
